How to Fix Bloxshade Not Working (Bloxstrap 2024)

Bloxshade is a tool alowing players to install shaders into Roblox games. Besides getting shaders, you can use it to customize Roblox games accordingly.

Unfortunately, Bloxshade is not free from errors and bugs. A lot of users took to social media and complained that they were unable to use Bloxshade as it was not working or loading.

Several factors may affect the performance of Bloxshade and cause various technical issues.

  • Temporary bugs and glitches. 
  • You don’t have an INVIDIA GPU. 
  • The INVIDIA Overlay is disabled. 
  • Roblox has released a new update. 
  • The Roblox graphic settings are set on Automatic.
  • The INVIDA app is not patched with Bloxshade. 

How to Fix the Bloxshade Not Working Issue

To resolve Bloxshade not working problem, apply the following troubleshooting methods:

Restart Your Computer 

Sometimes restarting your device fixes the problem. 

You might encounter Bloxshade not working problem because of temporary bugs and glitches present in your device.

If that’s the case then it can be fixed by simply restarting your computer. So, close all the applications and restart your computer. 

Once restarted, check if the Bloxshade is working. 

Check Graphic Settings On Roblox 

To use Bloxshade smoothly, the Grapgic Settings on Roblox must be set to manual and the Graphic Quality is 100%. 

If restarting your computer does not fix the issue, go to the Roblox Menu and check the Graphic Settings. 

If the Graphic Mode is set to Automatic then change it to Manual and increase the Graphic Quality to 100% as shown in the below image.

Check GPU

To use Bloxshade on your Windows computer, you must have an INVIDIA GPU installed on your device. 

If you have a GPU other than INVIDIA you won’t be able to use the Bloxshde to install shaders on Roblox. 

In that case, you have to go with an alternate method. 

Enable Overlay

To use Bloxshade, you need to enable the NVIDIA Overlay into the GeForce Experience. 

If you have not enabled the NVIDIA Overlay yet, you must be encountering this issue for that reason.

In that case, enabling the overlay will resolve your problem. 

To do so, open the GeForce Experience and open Settings.

Now, go to General and toggle ON the “In-game Overlay” option.

Patch NVIDIA App

NVIDIA does not allow users to use Bloxshade on unsupported games. 

The reason why you are unable to use the Bloxshade is that Roblox also falls into the unsupported games list.

In that case, patching the NVIDIA App will possibly fix your problem. 

To do so, first, uninstall Bloxshade and delete all the setup files. 

Once done, redownload the Bloxshade setup file. Once downloaded, use the following steps to patch the NVIDIA App.

  • Navigate to the download location and double-click on the Setup File to start the installation. 
  • This will open the installation window where click on the Settings option. 
  • Then click “Patch INVIDIA App”

  • This will start the patching process. 
  • You have to wait a little while because it will take some time. 
  • Once the patching process is completed, click Install. 
  • Complete the process and check if the problem is fixed. 
  • That’s it. 

Click Create Shortcut 

Roblox often releases new updates and with each update Bloxstrap stops working until it is updated.

In that case, you have to replace all Bloxshade files with a new one that is compatible with the newer version of Roblox. 

To do so, you need to open Bloxshade and click on the Settings option.

Here select Create Shortcut. This will create a new shortcut and replace all the older files with a new one and also fix the compatibility issues.
